Dancing has been my lifelong passion and hobby. Before taking bellydance on professionally I have trained in gymnastic, folkloric dancing and acrobatic rock and roll. I find magic in moving my body to music and see where it could take me. Feeling energize and revived through dance, I love to share my feeling with the audience.
Always searching for new inspirations, I regularly attend workshops with Australian and international belly dance stars and follow healthy exercise routine to allow my body to perform at its best. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and passion of the dance and over the past few years I have taught a series of workshops on specific skills: wings, double veil and Egyptian style.
I like to perform to dynamic and happy music which give me extra bust and sets the mood. I feel that my special skills are dancing with some props, such sword, fan veils and wings. I love to execute my tricks and carefully watch audience how audience reacts to it. My aim is to share my passion for dance with others and let them move with me and be fully involved and enjoy that moment that we share. I most value passion and style in a dancer.
I performed with Daria’s troupe, Desert Gypsies, and currently with my dance partner Laura as Desert Dreams and as a solo performer.
Highlights of my career so far have been performing in front of Dina at the Bellydance Star Awards, and in all stage shows of the 1001 Arabian Nights Extravaganza tour with the Desert Jewels. You can see me perform regularly at Sahra by the River Restaurant, Parramatta on Saturdays at 8:30pm. Like our Facebook page to hear about other upcoming performances.
